8th WFAD World Forum &
27th ECAD’s Mayors’ Conference

June 13th and 14th 2022 in Gothenburg, Sweden & Virtually

Every other year, WFAD organises a World Forum. This year, we will be organising our 8th World Forum together with ECAD, who will be organising their 27th ECADs Mayors’ Conference. The 1.5 days forum will be held in hybrid format on June 13th and 14th, 2022, to which you are cordially invited. You are welcomed to attend the Forum virtually or join us and our speakers in person in Gothenburg, Sweden. There will be a registration fee of 250 EU for in-person attendees. The fee includes lunch, coffee and snack breaks on both days and a “mingle dinner” on day one.

The World Forum will be a meeting place for WFAD and ECAD members, as well as professionals, scholars, local, regional, and national authorities, politicians, and other decision makers from around the world working to prevent drug abuse, increase treatment, and promote recovery and reintegration services.

Experts from the field will share research, best practices, and tools on:

  • Prevention
  • Treatment and Recovery
  • Advocacy, including advocacy for funding, prevention, children’s rights, and against legalisation

European Cities Against Drugs

ECAD is first and foremost a network of European cities and municipalities. It currently counts as its members over 250 cities in over 20 countries throughout Europe, Turkey and Russia. ECAD members are leaders and practitioners in the field of drug policy.

World Federation Against Drugs
